Pináculo, 2018

Photography can be seen as a medium to suspend time and preserve an immortalized moment. From this utopian desire to stop time, Pináculo was born, a photographic series of objects frozen both literally and metaphorically, captured at a critical juncture or during transformation. These objects are suspended through photography and ice, creating ephemeral sculptures that reflect on the fragility of the present and the possibility of making fleeting moments eternal through their documentation.
